Junior Kim Matthews (Brooklyn, NY/Bishop Kearney) had a strong tournament, recording 16 kills, 41 digs and 36 assists.  She fell one kill shy of a double-double against St. Joseph's – LI finishing with nine kills and 13 digs.  Freshman Megan Moran (Syosset, NY/St. Dominic's) also turned in a solid effort with 38 digs and five blocks including a career high four blocks against Farmingdale State. 

Senior Kathy McCarthy (Breezy Point, NY/Fontbonne Hall) led the team with 17 kills over the four game span and also chipped in with 31 digs, while senior Melissa Simo (Brooklyn, NY/Midwood) added 17 assists.

The Lady Bears will look to rebound Monday night in a Conference match against Yeshiva.  Game time is set for 8:00 pm.
