The St. Joseph's University, NY – Brooklyn sports medicine staff is dedicated to the prevention, rehabilitation and recovery needs of over 170 student-athletes. The athletic training staff consists of two full-time athletic trainers who are NATA certified and licensed in the state of New York.

Traveling local and abroad with your athletic teams, you can always ensure the consistency of treatment and care each athlete receives. The sports medicine staff prides itself on not only providing the best injury-specific plan of care, but also ensuring that the athlete's long-term health goals are met.
Visiting Athletic Trainers
On behalf of St. Joseph's University, NY - Brooklyn Sports Medicine, we welcome you and your teams to The Hill Center. The following information will be helpful to your needs and preparation for competition. A Certified Athletic Trainer will be present at all home competitions to assist you and your team's needs. Please be aware that most athletic events are held off-campus and only sideline/bench items will be accessible. The following will on-site at every home competition:
- Ice Water
- Cups
- Injury Ice Bags
- AED
- Splints
- Crutches
If your team will not be accompanied by a Certified Athletic Trainer we require a minimum of 24 hours notice.
In order for your student-athletes to be treated or taped, they must come with a fully stocked athletic kit, as well as a note from a Medical Doctor or Certified Athletic Trainer, stating what they will need.
