NEWBURGH, N.Y. — The St. Joseph's University, N.Y. – Brooklyn women's soccer team fell 0-8 to Mount Saint Mary College on Saturday afternoon from Kaplan Field.
The Knights took an early lead, scoring just three minutes into the match, and added two more goals before the 25th minute. They netted a fourth goal 10 minutes before halftime.
Much like the first half, MSMC struck again within the first three minutes of the second period. By the 62nd minute, the hosts built a commanding 7-0 lead, securing their 8-0 victory with a final goal in the last minute of the match.
Hayden Reis (Atlanta, Ga.) and Mary Hall (Rochester, N.Y.) saw shots on target while Lindsay Dominguez (Bellerose, N.Y.) finished with 15 saves.
