How it Happened

The Golden Eagles limited the Bears to two shots in the first half, but the navy and gray scored with 7:46 left in the period. Pablo Mejia (Brooklyn, N.Y.) assisted Diego Volpe (Long Branch, N.J.), who beat the SJLI keeper, giving the Bears a 1-0 halftime lead.
