BROOKLYN. N.Y. — The St. Joseph's University N.Y. – Brooklyn women's soccer team ended its 2024 campaign on Tuesday afternoon following a 0-9 loss to Purchase College at Aviator Field.
Despite the Panthers getting on the board less than three minutes into the match, the Bears put up a solid defensive effort for the next 30 minutes. However, the Panthers would score three more times in the last ten minutes of the half for a 4-0 lead at the break.
Purchase would add five more goals in the second half including two from Lindita Selmani to complete her hat-trick.
Casey Hobbs (Surprise, Ariz.) had four shots on goal for the Bears while Sydney Castillo (Midland, Texas) had 12 saves in goal.
The Bears finish the season with a record of 1-13 while going 1-9 in the Skyline Conference.
