Box Score BRONX, N.Y — The St. Joseph's University, New York (Brooklyn) women's soccer team lost by a score of 11-0 to the University of Mount Saint Vincent on Wednesday night.
The Dolphins jumped out to an early lead in the first half thanks to a goal by Victoria Gamarra at the 2:23 mark in the first half. UMSV would score again less than a minute later and the Dolphins would ride that momentum the rest of the way as they led 7-0 at the break.
Mount Saint Vincent would add on four more goals in the second half and by the time the final horn sounded, the Dolphins had emerged victorious by a score of 11-0. Lindsey Dominguez (Bellerose, N.Y.) made seven saves in the first frame while Brianna Davidson (Clarendon, Jamaica) added four saves in the second half for the Bears.
