BROOKLYN, N.Y. — The St. Joseph's University, N.Y. – Brooklyn men's basketball team dropped their penultimate home game on Tuesday evening, falling to Farmingdale State College, 41-80.
How it Happened
The Bears closed an early 6-0 gap to 6-5 on a three-pointer from Adam Jasaraj (Staten Island, N.Y.) and Joshua Gordon's (Brooklyn, N.Y.) inside jumper. The Rams used an 18-3 run to hold a commanding 24-8 advantage. The visitors' lead grew to 19, 43-24, at the intermission.
Farmingdale State's lead would further increase in the second half, growing to its largest at 75-30 with a little over seven minutes to play. They held on win the Black Division-contest by 43, 84-41.
Colin Mills (White Plains, N.Y.) led all scorers with 18 points to go with six rebounds. Gordon pulled a team-leading seven rebounds while Chris Williams (Trenton, N.J.) also had six rebounds.
