BROOKLYN, N.Y. — St. Joseph's University, New York – Brooklyn Director of Athletics and Recreation Megan Valentine along with head women's flag football coach Domenico DeLisi, present the upcoming SJBK Flag Football Skills Showcase, scheduled for Saturday, June 14, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Our Lady of Grace Field (100 Gravesend Neck Rd, Brooklyn, NY 11223). A rain date is set for Sunday, June 15, at Dyker Beach Park. Registration is now open.

Open to girls ages 12–18, the showcase offers a hands-on experience designed to sharpen skills, evaluate athletic performance, and engage with collegiate-level coaching staff; spearheaded by coach DeLisi and assistant coach Anthony DeMarco. Participants will take part in a series of drills; including a timed 40-yard dash, shuttle runs, vertical jumps, and position-specific skill work; followed by competitive 7v7 play.

Registration is $40 per participant and includes refreshments and a t-shirt. Athletes should bring cleats, a flag belt, a refillable water bottle, and any other necessary equipment.

The event reflects the University's ongoing investment in women's flag football, coinciding with the launch of St. Joseph's Brooklyn's women's flag football program in spring 2025; which saw a pair of victories in its inaugural campaign
