Box Score NEW YORK – The St. Joseph's University, New York (Brooklyn) women's soccer team fell to Pratt Institute, 0-14, on Tuesday evening from Randall's Island.
The Cannoneers jumped out early with back-to-back strikes in the seventh minute and went on to score seven times in the opening half. Facing Pratt's pressure, goalkeeper Lindsay Dominguez (Bellerose, N.Y.) made 10 saves in the first 45 minutes to keep the Bears battling despite a lopsided scoreline.
After the break, Jamie Tuba (Brooklyn, N.Y.) stepped into goal and made three stops, bringing the Bears' total to 13 saves, though Pratt continued to generate opportunities and added seven more goals.
