BROOKLYN, N.Y. — The St. Joseph's University, N.Y. (Brooklyn) men's soccer team dropped a 0-4 decision to the University of Mount Saint Vincent on Tuesday afternoon in a rematch of last season's Skyline Conference First Round.
The Dolphins struck four times in a 14-minute span during the first half before Jenluis Henriquez opened the scoring in the 22nd minute. They doubled the lead two minutes later and Anthony Rochester added a third in the 36th to send UMSV into halftime ahead 3-0.
St. Joseph's held the visitors off the board for much of the second half as the Bears produced four shots on the day. Following a late Bear red card, the Dolphins confirmed the 4-0 scoreline in the final minute of the match.
Edwin Sacramento (Brooklyn, N.Y.) finished with six saves on the day. Bryan Garcia (Flushing, N.Y.) registered a pair of shots and the lone SJBK shot on target.
