BROOKLYN, N.Y. – The St. Joseph's University, New York (Brooklyn) men's soccer team was handed a 0-3 defeat against Bard College on Thursday evening in their return to Aviator Field.
Despite the Raptors dominating the possession battle throughout the match, the Bears maintained the scoreless deadlock heading into halftime. First-year shot stopper Matthew Galetta (Bohemia, N.Y.) saved all seven shots he faced in the opening 45 minutes.
In the 52nd minute, Bard scored their first of two goals in a five-minute span. They confirmed the 3-0 result at 70'.
Galetta finished with 14 saves on the night.
