KINGS POINT, N.Y. — The St. Joseph's University, New York (Brooklyn) women's soccer team fell to the United States Merchant Marine Academy, 10–0, in Skyline Conference action on Friday evening.

Merchant Marine opened the scoring in the fourth minute and held a 2–0 advantage after 11 minutes. The Mariners added three goals over a span of just over three minutes midway through the half before taking a 7–0 lead into the break.

The hosts added three goals over the opening 13 minutes of the second half, with the final tally coming in the 58th minute. The Bears kept the Mariners off the scoresheet for the remaining 32 minutes.

Isabella Argento (Levittown, N.Y.) made 10 saves in goal.

Monday's scheduled match at City College (N.Y.) has been postponed. The Bears will return to action on Saturday, October 3, when they host Manhattanville University at 12 pm.
