St. Joseph's University - Brooklyn

Sebastien Etheart joined the men’s basketball staff during the 2021-22 season. An alumnus of St. Joseph's, Etheart suited up for the Bears from 2016-20; placing 6th on both all-time rebounding and assist list at the time of graduation. He was named team MVP for the 2019-20 season. 

A member of the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee, Etheart obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice and is now in the process of obtaining a Master's Degree in Childhood Education at Brooklyn College. He is in his third year of teaching at the Sacred Heart Catholic Academy of Bayside, Queens.

In addition to his everyday coaching responsibilities, Etheart has assumed the role of lead recruiter for the men's basketball program.

Fun Fact - Coach Etheart played his college career with his twin brother, Stephane, who ranks 5th all-time in rebounding and who is also the first 1,000-point scorer in the Bears Skyline Era.
