Corrado 'Dino' Mastropierro was named the head coach of the St. Joseph's University, N.Y. - Brooklyn softball program in the summer of 2023. In his first season at the helm, the Bears produced a 23-14 overall record and a 12-6 mark in Skyline Conference play; good enough for a third-place regular-season finish. He also saw a trio of All-Skyline first team selections; Bella Gomez, Arianna Heinsch, and Lauren Van Der Kamp; as well as the program's first-ever Rookie of the Year selection, Payton Walker.
Mastropierro joined the Bears from the Sacred Heart Academy on Long Island. He served as the head coach of their junior varsity softball program in 2019 and was elevated to the head coach of the varsity team from 2021 prior to his appointment at St. Joseph's. Mastropierro also coached the Force Fastpitch Travel Team from 2018 to 2021. His U-12, U-14, and U-16 teams regularly featured in USSSA and USA Softball National Qualifier tournaments. He was also the vice president of the Levittown Athletic Club.
Away from the diamond, the Seaford, N.Y. native is an administrator at the New East Side Nursing Home.
