Biography

As a Senior:

  • Named to Skyline Women's Basketball Scholar-Athlete of the Year and Skyline All-Conference First Team
  • Selected to the Bears Scholar-Athlete Team.
  • Played and started in all 26 games for SJC.
  • Put up a career-best 17.7 points per game, ranking fourth in the Skyline Conference in scoring.
  • Lead those who qualified in the Skyline Conference in three-point field goal percentage, shooting 39.6% from deep.
  • Was named Skyline Player of the Week once (Dec. 10) and was nabbed a spot on the Skyline Weekly Honor Roll on three occasions (11/13, 12/17, 1/15).
  • Put up a career-high 33 points in the Bears’ overtime win at Brooklyn College (Dec. 11) with 11 rebounds and four assists.
  • Recorded two double-doubles on the season, including 17 points and 10 rebounds at Staten Island (Dec. 8) and the aforementioned matchup with Brooklyn College (Dec. 11).
  • Her 12 points in the Bears’ Senior Night win over Yeshiva University (Feb. 7) were enough to make Porcasi the first Bear to plateau 1,600 points in the NCAA era.
  • Finished her career with 1,647 points, good for third on the Bears All-Time Scoring List.

As a Junior:

  • Named to the Skyline Academic Honor Roll, Skyline All-Sportsmanship Team, and Skyline Weekly Honor Roll on five occasions (11/27, 12/4, 1/8, 1/29, 2/5, 2/12, 2/20) while starting all 26 games.
  • Averaged a career-high 17.6 ppg (2nd on team) which ranked fourth in the league on a career-high 37.6% mark from the field (career-high 2.8 apg).
  • Joined the 1,000-point club in a Jan. 13 victory over Purchase (17 pts), also hit a record eight threes in a game vs. Sarah Lawrence (Jan. 6) while moving into third all-time in 3FG made.
  • Her double-digit scoring streak reached 18 games and she notched 25 such games on the year (11 of 20+ points). Most notably dropped a career-high 31 in a 20-point, Hill Center victory over sibling rival SJC Long Island (Feb. 6); served up career-best seven dimes vs. Yeshiva (Feb. 1).

As a Sophomore:

  • Named to Skyline Academic Honor Roll, as well as Skyline Player of the Week (Jan. 2) and Skyline Weekly Honor Roll twice (Jan. 9, Jan. 24).
  • Started in all 24 of her appearances on the season.
  • Came in second on the squad with 15.3 points per night which was good for third in the Skyline. Her 52 3FG made ranked fourth in the league and her 32.3% mark from deep was good for fifth.
  • Averaged an SJC-record 35.6 minutes/game and rattled off four-straight 20+ scoring outputs, highlighted by a season-high 26 points (7-9, 4-6 3FG) against Old Westbury (Jan. 4).

As a Freshman:

  • Named Skyline Rookie of the Week on December 14 and January 11.
  • In her collegiate debut scored 14 at CCNY and went 8-10 from the free throw line. (11/15/15)
  • Scored a career- and team-high 22 points at Lehman while shooting an SJC-record 12-for-12 from the free throw line. (11/18/15)
  • Recorded her first double-double with 11 points and a career-high 10 rebounds coming off the bench at Frostburg State (11/20/15).
