Elcock joined the Bears staff as assistant women’s soccer coach in May of 2016 after a successful run as head boys varsity coach at Brooklyn Friends School.

The Brooklyn native assembled a distinguished collegiate playing career at Wingate University and Old Dominion University. In three seasons at Old Dominion from 2004-06, Elcock helped the Monarchs to the NCAA tournament in every year he played, amassing 22 goals and 48 points, earning All-Colonial Athletic Association first-team honors twice.

During a senior campaign where he led the Monarchs to the round of 16 in the NCAA College Cup and a No. 14 final ranking nationally, Elcock scored a team- and CAA-best 11 goals and six assists and was named a NSCAA/adidas First Team All-American, still remaining as one of two NSCAA first-team All-Americans in program history.

Drafted by the Kansas City Wizards in the 2007 Major League Soccer (MLS) SuperDraft, Elcock signed a developmental contract with the MLS club, appearing in eight reserve games before playing in the United Soccer League (USL) for five seasons. After signing with the Puerto Rico Islanders for one season in 2008 and scoring twice, he concluded his professional career with the Richmond Kickers making 69 appearances from 2009 to 2012, tallying 14 goals.
