YONKERS, N.Y. — The St. Joseph's University, N.Y. – Brooklyn men's soccer team topped Sarah Lawrence College, 2-0, on Saturday night from Fleming Field.
Both teams had plenty of chances to score in the first half, registering a combined 17 shots, but neither could break the scoreless deadlock before the break. A poor defensive clearance inside the 18-yard box from the Gryphons allowed Victor Naci (Bordeaux, France) to capitalize and draw first blood in the 56th minute.
Naci confirmed the Bears' 2-0 result with an 83rd-minute header.
