BRONX, N.Y. — In their last non-conference match of the season, the St. Joseph's University, N.Y. – Brooklyn women's soccer team dropped a 0-3 decision to Lehman College on Monday afternoon in the Bronx.
All of the Lightning's scoring occurred within the first 45 minutes, beginning in the 16th minute courtesy of Lory Castro. She secured a brace one minute prior to halftime, with a goal from Emily Huerta in between, to seal Lehman's 3-0 result.
The Bears saw opportunities to open their account, with shots on target from Lindsay Dominguez (Bellerose, N.Y.) and Gabriella Albizuri (Spring, Texas), but were unable to get past the Lehman goalkeeper.
Sydney Castillo (Midland, Texas) finished with eight saves on the day.
