PURCHASE, N.Y. — The St. Joseph's University, N.Y. – Brooklyn women's soccer team suffered a 0-9 defeat to John Jay College on Thursday afternoon at Purchase College.
Most of John Jay's scoring came in the first half, with their first goal in the seventh minute, leading to a 7-0 advantage by halftime. Although the second half was relatively quiet, the Bloodhounds added two more goals in the 79th and 89th minutes, finalizing the score at 9-0.
Lindsay Dominguez recorded 17 saves during the match.
The Bears will return to Skyline play on Saturday, October 5, at 1 p.m. against SUNY College at Old Westbury at Aviator Field.
