BROOKLYN, N.Y. — The St. Joseph's University, N.Y. – Brooklyn women's soccer team dropped a 0-1 result to the SUNY College at Old Westbury on Saturday afternoon from Aviator Field.
The difference between the two sides was an 8th-minute goal from the Panthers' Jocelyn Forseth. The Bears prevented the visitors from adding further damage as Lindsay Dominguez (Bellerose, N.Y./LaGuardia) totaled 10 saves. Three Bears – Ashley Pintado (Jackson Heights, N.Y./Christ the King), Bethany Perez (Phelan, Calif./Serrano), and Katherine Barrios (Mamaroneck, N.Y./Mamaroneck) – all registered shots with the latter two finding the frame of goal.
The Bears return to Aviator Field on Tuesday, October 8 for a Skyline match against the United States Merchant Marine Academy. Kickoff is scheduled for 7:30 pm.
