BROOKLYN, N.Y. — The St. Joseph's University, N.Y. (Brooklyn) men's basketball team lost their home finale against Mount Saint Mary College, 64-82, on Thursday evening at The Hill Center.
Evan Sirakis (Hollis Hills, N.Y./St. Francis Prep), Chris Tracy (Glendale, N.Y./Archbishop Molloy) and James Mojica (South Ozone Park, N.Y./Archbishop Molloy) were all honored by the men's basketball program and the Athletics department prior to opening tip.
How it Happened
The Tracy-Sirakis duo propelled the Bears to an 8-2 start. The Knights reclaimed the lead as the opening 20 minutes saw seven ties and 10 lead changes. With three seconds remaining in the half, Justin Rivera's field goal with three seconds remaining gave the Knights a slim 33-31 edge at the break.
Mount Saint Mary's lead gradually grew to double figures but the Bears managed to reduce their deficit to as few as eight. However, the Knights added further separation from the Bears, holding a 23-point advantage with 2:13 remaining; ultimately securing the 82-64 triumph.

Chris Williams (Trenton, N.J./Nottingham) led the Bears with 12 points with Nazareth Warren (Brooklyn, N.Y./Spring Creek Campus) joining him in double figures (10).

Adam Jasaraj (Staten Island, N.Y./Susan Wagner) led the side with six rebounds, three coming on either end of the floor.
