BROOKLYN, N.Y. — The St. Joseph's University, N.Y. - Brooklyn women's soccer team suffered a 7-0 defeat at the hands of Pratt Institute on Friday afternoon to open the 2024 campaign.

The Cannoneers saw a pair of early goals inside the opening 10 minutes before doubling the advantage to 4-0 after 20 minutes. Pratt ultimately possessed a 6-0 lead at the half; adding their seventh five minutes past the hour mark to confirm the result.

Rookie goalkeeper Lindsay Dominguez (Jersey City, N.J./LaGuardia) posted 14 saves in her collegiate debut.

The Bears take on John Jay College at Aviator Field in their second match of the season on Wednesday, September 4 at 8 pm.
