BROOKLYN, N.Y. – The St. Joseph's University, New York (Brooklyn) men's soccer team suffered a 0-3 defeat at the hands of Brooklyn College on Wednesday evening in their return to Aviator Field.
The Bulldogs struck first in the seventh minute through Andrew Gavrilov, before doubling the hosts' tally just four minutes before halftime.
The Bears held off further damage until the 72nd minute, when the Bulldogs converted a penalty to seal the 3-0 result.
Alexander Kudrick (Ronkonkoma, N.Y.) and Pablo Mejia (Elmhurst, N.Y.) combined for five shots and three on target. In goal, Matthew Galetta (Bohemia, N.Y.) registered three saves.
