NEW YORK — The St. Joseph's University, New York (Brooklyn) women's soccer team continued Skyline Conference play on Wednesday evening, falling 0-8 to Farmingdale State College on Randall's Island.
The Rams pressed from the opening whistle, scoring six times in the first half with goals in the 9th, 13th, 24th, 30th, 33rd, and 35th minutes. Despite the onslaught, goalkeeper Lindsay Dominguez (Bellerose, N.Y.) turned aside 14 shots in the opening period.
After halftime, Dominguez added 12 more saves, finishing with 26 stops on the day as Farmingdale State added goals in the 47th and 85th minutes.
