PURCHASE, N.Y. — The St. Joseph's University, New York (Brooklyn) women's soccer team fell 0-10 to Purchase College on Saturday afternoon in Skyline Conference play.
The Panthers jumped ahead in the 7th minute and built a 6-0 halftime lead behind a hat trick from Lindita Selmani. St. Joseph's goalkeeper Lindsay Dominguez (Bellerose, N.Y.) piled up 13 saves in the opening 45 minutes.
Purchase added four more goals after the break, with Kelly Casas completing a hat trick and Katherine Lasky closing the scoring in the 72nd minute. Four minutes later, the Bears generated their best chance in the 77th minute when Brianna Davidson (Clarendon, Jamaica) put a shot on frame, but it was turned away by the Panther shot stopper.
Dominguez finished with 20 saves in the contest, her fourth outing with at least 20 stops.
