NEWBURGH, N.Y. — The St. Joseph's University, New York (Brooklyn) women's soccer team fell to Mount Saint Mary College, 15–0, in Skyline Conference action Wednesday evening at Kaplan Field.
The Knights established control early, opening the scoring in the fifth minute before adding two more goals inside the opening 14 minutes. The hosts extended their advantage to 6–0 by the 22nd minute and carried a 9–0 lead into halftime.
The Bears held MSMC off the scoresheet for the opening 12 minutes of the second half before the Knights added its 10th goal in the 58th minute. They scored twice more before the 71st minute and added three goals over a span of 2:36 to close the scoring.
Isabella Argento (Levittown, N.Y.) finished with 20 saves for St. Joseph's as she faced 47 shots.
The Bears travel to Kings Point to face the United States Merchant Marine Academy on Friday, September 25 at 7:30 pm.
