NEW YORK — The Skyline Conference released the Fall 2024 Academic Honor Roll on Friday afternoon, highlighting 27 fall student-athletes from St. Joseph's University, N.Y. – Brooklyn. To qualify for the Honor Roll, student-athletes must achieve a 3.3 grade-point average or above on a 4.0 scale while actively participating in men's and women's cross country, golf, men's and women's soccer, women's tennis, and women's volleyball.
"We continue to see an increase in student-athlete academic performance across the Skyline, which continues to show the commitment to the pursuit of academic excellence on the part of our student-athletes and the athletics departments," remarked league commissioner Melissa Reilly. She added, "their success is a testament to the hard work and dedication from each of our programs and all of the student-athletes being honored."
A total of 635 student-athletes from the conference's 12 member institutions were named to the honor roll. Women's soccer led the fall teams at St. Joseph's with eight honorees. In addition, seven athletes were recognized as CSC Academic All-District selections, including men's soccer's Victor Naci, who went on to earn the university's fourth Academic All-America designation. Naci is also one of seven postseason honorees represented on the honor roll.
