BROOKLYN, N.Y. — Monday night saw the induction of 14 St. Joseph's University, N.Y. – Brooklyn student-athletes into the New York Beta Delta Chapter of the Chi Alpha Sigma honor society, in conjunction with the 2026 Vandy's Award Banquet.
Founded in 1996, Chi Alpha Sigma is a non-profit organization established to recognize college student-athletes who excel both on and off the field of competition. The honor society is the first and only academic sorority/fraternity that specifically recognizes four-year collegiate student-athletes for their athletic and academic successes.
"In our second year as members of Chi Alpha Sigma, we are pleased to honor 14 new student-athlete inductees. Their commitment to athletics, academics, and community is admirable, and we are proud of them for their ability to balance the rigors that come with being a student-athlete," commented Megan Valentine, Director of Athletics and Recreation. "These students have been tremendous ambassadors of St. Joseph's University, Brooklyn Athletics, and we wish them nothing but the best as they embark upon their next steps following graduation."
