BROOKLYN, N.Y. — Vincent Camerada (Staten Island, N.Y./New Dorp), Christopher Stegmuller (Baldwin, N.Y./Baldwin) and Kris Vinski (Bridgehampton, N.Y./Bridgehampton) of the St. Joseph's University, New York (Brooklyn) baseball team were named to the 2026 College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Team®. Camerada is placed on an All-District Team® for a program-record third time, while Stegmuller and Vinski each earn the honor for a second consecutive season.
The All-District® teams, selected by CSC, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. Student-athletes must have a grade-point average of at least 3.50, which is not rounded up, to qualify for the team.
Camerada finished the campaign with the team lead in on-base percentage (.409) while placing third in hits (23). The senior theraputic recreation major concludes his collegiate career with 81 hits, 40 RBI, .422 on-base percentage, and .349 slugging.
Stegmuller capped off his senior year with 16 hits and 12 RBIs, featuring a standout 2-for-3 game with a pair of RBIs at Merchant Marine. The Baldwin native and business administration major puts a bow on his time with the Bears with career totals of 61 hits and 42 RBIs, alongside a .409 on-base percentage and a .347 slugging percentage.
Camerada and Stegmuller were also among the 14 inductees welcomed into the department's second annual Chi Alpha Sigma honor society class.
Vinski rounds out the Bears' trio on the All-District® Team. The junior made 14 starts this season, tying the program's single-season record for pitching appearances while also earning four starts. Over that span, he racked up 14 strikeouts, highlighted by a season-high three punchouts at Rosemont in March.
In April, Vinski, a journalism major, was selected as the recipient of the Jim O'Connell Communications Scholarship by the Metropolitan Basketball Writers Association, the second student from St. Joseph's (Brooklyn) to ever earn the award.
